AI potential analysis, the fixed-price entry into your AI roadmap.

The AI potential analysis is the clearly scoped entry into AI, at a fixed price and creditable against a follow-up project. Instead of an open-ended mandate you get a package with a fixed scope, a fixed result and a fixed price. We capture your processes and data, find the use cases with the biggest leverage and hand over a roadmap you can act on immediately.

Sounds like your case? A short strategy call via our booking calendar clarifies that quickly, alternatively email info@ki-beratung.co.

Why an analysis and not a big strategy project

Many companies hesitate on AI because consulting feels open-ended. The analysis solves exactly that. You know up front what you get, what it costs and how long it takes. The risk stays small, the value is concrete. And because the fixed price is creditable against a follow-up project, you lose nothing if you continue into delivery afterwards. The entry point is meant to make a decision easy, not to sell a months-long mandate.

What happens in the analysis

We look at three levels. First the processes, where work is repeated manually today, where throughput stalls and where errors appear. Second the data, which information is available cleanly and which needs preparation first. Third the readiness, meaning tooling, team skills and governance. From these three levels we build a list of possible use cases and sort them by effort and impact. The result is not a wish list but a ranking with a clear starting point.

What you get

After the analysis you hold three things. A prioritized use case list with a short business case per case, meaning time saved or faster throughput against rough effort. A readiness report with a score and the concrete gaps to close before delivery. And a roadmap from analysis through pilot to scaling that shows what comes first and why. With that you can continue on your own or start straight into an accompanied pilot.

Typical results from practice

In most mid-market companies the first levers sit in recurring text work and in searching your own documents. A proposal assistant that produces clean drafts from templates and context. A knowledge bot on your internal files so colleagues stop searching. A reporting autopilot that pulls data and writes a clean update. Which one comes first for you is decided by the analysis based on your numbers, not a general trend. That is why the sequence is the real result.

Assess AI potential

Process and duration

The process is deliberately short. The result is ready within a few weeks, not months.

  1. Workshop at a round table with charts and laptops

    Step 1

    Kickoff

We clarify goals and scope. (Duration: 1 session. Output: clear brief)

  2. Team stacking hands over documents

    Step 2

    Capture

One or two working sessions on processes and data. (Duration: 1 to 2 sessions. Output: as-is picture)

  3. Handshake at a meeting table seen from above

    Step 3

    Evaluation and roadmap

We assess, prioritise and produce the roadmap. (Duration: a few weeks. Output: prioritised roadmap)

EU AI Act is built in

Since 02.02.2025, Art. 4 of the EU AI Act requires AI competence among staff. In the potential analysis we mark which of your use cases fall into which risk class and where documentation is needed. That way compliance is not an afterthought. The deeper coverage is provided by the EU AI Act consulting on EU AI Act consulting that makes your AI practically prepared.

FAQ

What does the AI potential analysis cost?
It has a fixed price that is creditable against a follow-up project. We name the concrete amount in the strategy call because it depends on scope and the number of processes reviewed. Prices are deliberately not on the page so your offer fits your case rather than a flat rate.
How long does the analysis take?
Usually a few weeks from kickoff to a finished roadmap. We work in short stages with one or two working sessions so you see a result early. That is noticeably faster than a classic strategy project, which often runs over months.
Is the analysis creditable against a follow-up project?
Yes. If you continue with an accompanied pilot or delivery after the analysis, the fixed price of the analysis is credited. There is no obligation to a follow-up. You can also continue the roadmap on your own with your team.
How is the analysis different from an AI readiness check?
The readiness check measures your maturity and delivers a score, free and in a few minutes. The potential analysis goes deeper, finds concrete use cases, builds a rough business case per case and prioritizes them into a roadmap. The check is at How AI-ready is your company.
Do we need clean data or prior AI knowledge?
No. Missing data quality and missing prior knowledge are part of what we capture. The analysis shows which gaps to close before delivery and estimates the effort. Prior knowledge in the team is welcome but not a prerequisite.
Which company sizes does the analysis suit?
The focus is mid-market and SME, where clear processes meet limited resources. A well-prioritized roadmap pays off there because a few well-chosen use cases save noticeable time. Larger organizations we support on governance and roll-out.
