Purpose of the calculator

AI potential calculator, estimate your time and ROI leverage.

This calculator gives you a rough estimate, with your own numbers, of what an AI use case could return. You enter how much time a recurring process costs today and how strongly AI realistically eases it, and the calculator estimates the hours saved and the value per year. The result is orientation for prioritization, not a binding offer. No service prices are named, all figures come from your inputs.

AI potential calculator

The calculator gives you a rough estimate, with your own numbers, of what an AI use case could return.

Number of people who run the process.

h

How much time the process currently costs per person.

%

How much of that time AI realistically takes over (0 to 90%).

€

Internal hourly rate or fully loaded cost per hour, optional.

Default 46, adjustable.

Your result

Hours saved per week
10.0 h
Hours saved per year
460 h
Estimated value per year
only with a cost per hour
Freed full-time capacity
0.25 full-time positions

The result is an estimate from your own inputs, not service prices and not a guarantee. The calculation runs in your browser, nothing is transmitted.

How the tool calculates
  • Total weekly hours = people involved times hours per week per person.
  • Hours saved per week = total weekly hours times automation share (percent divided by 100).
  • Hours saved per year = hours saved per week times working weeks per year.
  • Value per year = hours saved per year times cost per hour (only if an hourly value is entered).
  • Freed full-time capacity = hours saved per year divided by 1,840.

Assumptions

  • 1,840 hours is a rough annual working time per full-time employee and serves only as an illustrative figure.
  • Plausibility limits: automation share 0 to 90%, no negative values.
  • All values are illustrative and come from your assessment.

Input fields

The calculator works with a few clearly explained fields. All values are illustrative and come from your assessment.

  1. Analysis documents with charts and a smartphone

    Step 1

Process name (free, for orientation only, such as proposal creation).

  2. Meeting seen from above with laptops and tablets

    Step 2

People involved (number of people who run the process).

  3. Hands pointing at printed charts

    Step 3

Hours per week per person (how much time the process currently costs per person).

  4. Workshop at a round table with charts and laptops

    Step 4

Automation share in percent (how much of that time AI realistically takes over).

  5. Team stacking hands over documents

    Step 5

Cost per hour in euros (internal hourly rate or fully loaded cost per hour, optional).

  6. Handshake at a meeting table seen from above

    Step 6

Working weeks per year (default 46, adjustable).

Calculation logic

The calculation is deliberately simple and traceable.

  • Total weekly hours = people involved times hours per week per person.

  • Hours saved per week = total weekly hours times automation share (percent divided by 100).

  • Hours saved per year = hours saved per week times working weeks per year.

  • Value per year = hours saved per year times cost per hour (only if an hourly value is entered).

  • Freed full-time capacity (optional) = hours saved per year divided by 1,840 (rough annual working hours per full-time employee), as an illustrative figure.

Result output

The output shows the hours saved per week and per year as large metrics, optionally the estimated value per year and the freed full-time capacity. Alongside it, a short note that this is an estimate from your own inputs, plus a neutral CTA to the strategy call. Anyone running several processes quickly sees which has the biggest leverage, and that is exactly what the AI potential analysis then prioritizes robustly.

FAQ

How robust is the result?
It is a rough orientation from your own inputs, not a binding offer. The calculator helps you compare processes and spot the biggest leverage. A robust estimate looking at your real data and processes is delivered by the AI potential analysis.
Which numbers should I enter?
Take a concrete recurring process and estimate honestly how much time it costs per person and week. You can leave out the hourly value if you only want to compare hours.
Does the calculator name your prices?
No. The calculator only estimates your possible time and cost leverage from your inputs. Our services have no price on the page, we discuss that in the strategy call depending on scope and use case. The calculator and its use are free.
Are my inputs stored?
No. The calculation runs entirely in the browser, your inputs are not transmitted to a server or stored permanently. Only if you actively request your result by email do we process the details needed for that. Details are in the privacy policy.
